ITINERARY

Day 01:Arrival in Srinagar

Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, exploring canals, floating gardens, lotus gardens, and vegetable gardens. Visit handicraft centers showcasing paper mache and wood carvings. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar – Day Trip to Sonamarg

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the “Meadow of Gold,” located 86 km from Srinagar. Enjoy the stunning views of Sind Valley and the majestic mountains along the way. At an altitude of 2,690 meters, Sonamarg offers breathtaking landscapes, trekking trails, and serene lakes like Gadsar and Satsar.

After lunch, you may visit the Thajiwas Glacier, where snow persists year-round (accessible by pony ride), or explore Zero Point with a local union car (direct payment), depending on traffic conditions at Zojila Pass. Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 03: Srinagar to Gulmarg

After breakfast, check out and drive to Gulmarg, the “Meadow of Flowers,” situated at 8,800 feet above sea level. Admire the enchanting beauty of this picturesque village, resembling a doll’s house, once a favored summer retreat of the British. Gulmarg is home to the world’s highest 18-hole golf course and transforms into a renowned ski resort during winter.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 04: Explore Gulmarg

Start your day with breakfast, followed by an exciting Gondola ride, soaring above the meadows and snow-covered slopes of the Apherwat and Khilanmarg mountains, renowned for skiing adventures. You can also opt for a pony ride or an ATV ride around Khilanmarg or the scenic Gulmarg area (on direct payment).

Spend the rest of the day enjoying personal activities and soaking in the beauty of Gulmarg. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 05: Gulmarg to Pahalgam

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Pahalgam (160 km), the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit Pampore, known for its vibrant saffron fields, a cricket bat factory, and lush apple orchards. Pahalgam, nestled on the banks of the Lidder and Sheshnag Rivers, is a serene hill resort and a base for treks and the annual Amarnath Yatra. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. The rest of the day is free for leisure.

Day 06: Pahalgam

After breakfast, visit Aru Valley, known for its serene meadows and stunning landscapes, popular as a base for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier. Next, explore Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood film Betaab, surrounded by lush meadows, dense forests, and snow-capped peaks. Continue to Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. In the afternoon, opt for a pony ride to Baisaran Valley (direct payment), a picturesque meadow with rolling hills, perfect for trekking enthusiasts heading to Tulian Lake.                                                     Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Enjoy a leisurely day to unwind and explore Pahalgam at your own pace.

Day 08: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
