Tokyo-Takayama-Kanazawa- Osaka-Hiroshima-Kyoto – 12 Nights.

ITINERARY

Day 1: NARITA AIRPORT – TOKYO
Upon arrival at Narita Airport, clear customs and immigration then board the Airport Limousine
coach transfer service to your accommodation in Tokyo for 3 nights. A coach transfer service
can also be provided if you are arriving into Haneda Airport.
Day 2 : TOKYO
After breakfast at your hotel your Japan journey begins with a full day sightseeing tour of
Tokyo. Visit some of the major sights – Tokyo Tower Observatory, 250 meters high, boasting
360 panoramic views of the city. Nakamise Shopping Archade, a shopping street that leads
from the other gate of Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji), one of Tokyo’s most colourful and
popular Buddhist temples.
Day 3: TOKYO
After breakfast at your hotel your Japan journey begins with a full day sightseeing tour of Tokyo. Visit some of the major sights – Tokyo Tower Observatory, 250 meters high, boasting 360 panoramic views of the city. Nakamise Shopping Archade, a shopping street that leads from the other gate of Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji), one of Tokyo’s most colourful and popular Buddhist temples.
Day 4: TOKYO – TAKAYAMA
Breakfast at your own leisure. Morning free to explore more of Takayama town. You might like to visit the early morning markets. In the afternoon travel by JR Limited Express train to Kanazawa. Accommodation in Kanazawa for 1 night.
Day 5: TAKAYAMA
Hida Folk Village – an open-air museum exhibiting over 30 traditional houses from the region, Matsuri-no-mori and San-machi, a traditional Japanese village area and Takayama Jinya. Explore this historic area of Takayama’s old town.
Day 6 : TAKAYAMA – KANAZAWA
Morning free to explore more of Takayama town. You might like to visit the early morning markets. In the afternoon travel by JR Limited Express train to Kanazawa. Accommodation in Kanazawa for 1 night.
Day 7: KANAZAWA – OSAKA
Breakfast at your own leisure. Send your large luggage on to Hiroshima city. Morning city tour of Kanazawa visiting, Higashi Chayagai, Kenroku-en Garden – one of Japan’s 3 most beautiful gardens. Also visit Nagamachi Buke Yashiki, and Omicho Market. In the afternoon travel to Osaka city by JR Limited Express train. Accommodation in Osaka for 1 night.
Day 8: OSAKA – HIROSHIMA
Breakfast at your own leisure. Morning city tour of Osaka visiting, Osaka Castle, Floating Garden Observatory, Shitenno-ji Temple and Namba area. In the afternoon, travel to Hiroshima by Shinkansen Bullet train. Accommodation in Hiroshima for 2 nights.
Day 9 : HIROSHIMA
Breakfast at your own leisure. Today is a full day sightseeing tour of Hiroshima, visiting Miyajima Island, the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, and the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome (World Heritage listed).
Day 10 : HIROSHIMA – NARA – KYOTO
Breakfast at your own leisure. In the morning depart for Hiroshima by Shinkansen Bullet Train. Upon arrival take a Nara half day tour, visiting Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Shrine and Nara Nagomikan. After the tour you will travel to Kyoto and check into your accommodation and stay for 3 nights.
DAY 11: KYOTO
Breakfast at your own leisure. Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto city, visiting Nijo Castle, the Golden Pavilion, Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kiyomizu Temple.
DAY 12: KYOTO
Today is a free day to explore more of Kyoto City or do some last minute shopping.
DAY 13: KYOTO
Your journey finishes today after breakfast. Check out of your hotel and transferred to airport to catch your onward flight back to India.
